Just thought I'd check in and say I hope all is going well in development and RL. It's been a quiet few months on the board |

RL going well, developement has indeed been very quiet. I'm still planning to work on the decoder later on in the summer.... (most leiekly after the early rounds of the world cup).

Hi JohnAd
Can you tell us how YOU are watching the worldcup?
What is your hardware (specificaly VGA/driver), source, graph, renderer etc. Is it HDTV or SDTV
Do you use your early version decoder with the new deinterlacer? |

Nice question!

Mostly where I can at the moment...
So far that's been 3 key places. All SDTV, my PCs haven't the grunt for HD
My desk at work, is an old hauppaugue WinTV fed with composite via a balun system fed from a shared ananlog signal, through a hand crafted directshow graph with the directshow version of the new diag deinterlacing.
In pubs and bars, usually plasma fed SD satellite.
At home MCE with dscaler mpeg filter set up NV12 with radeon deinterlacing (this is pretty good for sport)

I haven't tried that recently as I thing the current source I have is pretty broken.
Cheers

Any chance of seeing a new version in the near future?
Thinking of 3:2 pulldown and the new deinterlacer.
