Feature suggestions:
- An option to show DScaler as an icon in the system tray rather than as an application in the task bar. (Saves space)
- Preview channels (4, 9 or 16)
- Floating "remote control" with channels, volume, mute, still capture and full screen.

I'll quote PuTTY developer Simon Tatham on this (although in this case talking about implementing the feature in PuTTY):
"Use of the System tray. So many people have requested this that I think it's a genuine desirable feature, but I don't want it to bloat the core of PuTTY. Therefore, it should be implemented using a separate program."
As it happens, there is a very small but perfectly formed free utility that does exactly this: http://www.veridicus.com/tummy/programming/powermenu/
It also allows you to set the transparency of a window (well, other than DScaler) if you use Windows 2000 or Windows XP. You can even set it to run silently so that it effectively becomes a transparent addition to Windows' standard system menu. |

1.http://dscaler.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=658
check here for minimizing dscaler to systemtray
2.16 channel preview and desktop overlay (like windvd 4) would b cool but idont think dscaler developers take these kinda eye candy seriously
3.floating remote control ???? y |
