Hi,
If JohnAd can answer this, that would be great.
Anyways, I have an ati tv wonder pro pci cx2388 card with philips 1238 mk5 tv tuner. It doesn't seem to be listed in dscaler 4.1.1.9. I have to choose something liek fq1236a mk4 for the tuner to work properly. Question is, I have made a driver package that uses a 3rd party driver that I have gotten to work for composite and s video but my specific tuner i cant get it to work. Either the drivers don't support it or I need the correct values. Could I use regspy or something to determine the values? |

No, you can't.
This tuner is a special case.
It's a so called silicon tuner if I'm not wrong. This type of tuner needs an special firmware at runtime depends on the country you are living to work properly.
This firmware is *not* Open Source and we have no permission to use it. All we can do is that you are able to use the other inputs, like composite or svideo. |
