I have done a little bit more.
I know that my TV card is ASUS My-cinema TV/FM 7131.
I have test with the new version 1.1.15, but the program only give me two possibilities:
SAA 7135
SAA 7131D
I can see some channels, but really poor.
I think the problem is that the TV card I have is not Dual (7131D), is only a TV analog card (7131) So maybe the DScaler software is not yet prepare for my card.
Could someone help me?
Thanks. |

I have a Kobian Mercury capture card, and the tuner is a tenas "tnf-5835-mff". I think it is a multiThe tuner looks a whole lot like the "*TNF8831 FF" at *http://tenas.net/doce/product.htm. as you can see on the chinese website here http://www.tenas.net/Product/GB/product_detail.asp?catalogid=&productid=44.
I think it's interesting that the tnf8831 is an option for dscaler, but only the pal version. As you can see on the tenas website, the tuner should support ntsc, pal, and secam. I'm pretty certain the same is for the 8835, because I think mine supports ntsc, pal, and secam. Why doesn't the tnf8831 have secam and ntsc options?
The default setup on install is "lifeview flyvideo2000/chronos video shuttle II" with the tuner "lg-tapc-new[ntsc]", which is interesting because that's exactly the card and tuner settings I use in linux with v4l, and it looks about the same(I use tvtime, which uses the deinterlace filters), which I think is a little better than the default software/drivers. I think there is an lg api that my tnf tuner is compatible with.
I also have the option of "kobian mercury wdm video capture(dshow)" in the sources list, from the drivers I installed, but they don't seem to work very well.
The card is an OEM product based on the lifeview 2000. You can find that here http://www.lifeview.com/usa/html/products/OEM/oem-googe.htm .
I can get more info. |

i recently got for testing ASUS Wifi-TV/D card
it's dual TV Tuner (Analog + Digital) with FM + Wifi 802.11a/b/g
when i use ASTRA32 to ID it reports Philips (1131h) capture device SAA7135HL (7133h)
DScaler 4.1.15 reports card in options as SAA7134
but in HW informations as VideoDecoder: SAA7133
Vendor ID: 1131 , DeviceID: 7133, AutoDetect ID 81881043 with tuner TDA8275@I2C address 0xC2
i tried lot of options and settings but never managed DScaler to work
hopefully future version includes more improved support |

Which card do you suggest?
I want to use my htpc to rescaler the signal coming from my ps2 to my vpr crt ecp 4500. I've a pentium IV 2.8ghz with 1gb of ram.
What do you think about the Terratec Cinergy 400 TV Stereo?
There's inside the chip SAA 7134, right?
Let me know, please.
Thanks in advance.

cynergie 400 should work. If you live in Germany the card in my signature is the cheapest SAA7134 card (however no good remote).
PCTV Stereo from pinnacle is cheap and good too. Anyhow you must take a PCI card. _________________ dscaler 4.1.15

| I recently won this garish package (the box says "Super Digital TV Capture") and am wondering what to select in DScaler's setup. It's a SAA7134HL based card, and no information tool on Earth will tell me who made it (the hardware reports as being of Philips make, which it clearly isn't). |

I use AverTV GO 007 FM Plus which geared by SAA7131E. I am also using Dscaler 4.1.15. There's not much cards for me to select on Dscaler front page. Everthing seems fine with unknown card mode with Philips TDA8275. But NO SOUND.
Using AverTV GO 007 FM Plus WDM on Dscaler have some problems, though it's sound, the picture is pixelated and too slow.
I have once used ChirsTV, it did same thing but when I use advanced rendering it seems fine.
I also capture regspy for you all to take a look and may give a help to me.
