Hi, I have tried three different TV programmes, and I can't pick up the same channels on each one. Using dscaler (the best overall programme) I can't get Nickelodeon, UK Horizons, and a few others.

Unfortunately, the other programmes I used don't show the frequency of the channels, so I can't even put it in manually.

The Pinnacle software channel scan takes a LOT longer than the dscaler scan, so I'm wondering if the dscaler scan isn't as thorough? Maybe the frequency range isn't large enough, or the step between frequencies is too large.

Can someone advise me please?

Also, is there ANY way of watching the scrambled channels I am receiving? (I can hear sound, but the picture is scrambled).

Does the Pinnacle program generate a configuration file that you can snoop into for the channels?

What cable system are you on?
