|

Issue: After a short time ffshow graphs become stuttery
Status: Reproduced and Fixed. Due to miising stop time on sample being required for ffdshow's quality control. |

Thanks for the update version!
But I'm sorry to report the ffdshow stutter problem remain!
P4 2.4B oc 3.0. WinXP SP1. DirectX 9.0b. Radeon 9500 Cat 4.7. ffdshow 20040709_SSE.
With ffdshow in the path (even none filter enabled), stutter after a few seconds playback (seems even faster than the 0.002 version!).
Without ffdshow, smooth playback all the way.
The Audio Decoder seems even worse and gives NO SPDIF output this time.
Please keep the great work!
regards,

I tested it yesterday and I had sound on the S/PDIF output, at least for DTS, AC3 and PCM tracks (no test with MPEG). The only problem for me is the synchro problem. _________________ Laurent - team DScaler |

| DScaler5 stutters with or without ffdshow for me, but it's not all the time. A movie or clip will start out perfect for about a minute then go thru a stutter period, then recover. |

just installed dscaler 5. video stutters using mpc with ffdshow installed. it happens like 5 seconds into the video.
Also, when playiing .ts files with mpc, it crashes due to some ffdshow audio error. This never happened before installing dsscaler. I left all the settings as default.
EDIT: I converted the .ts into a mpeg program stream, mpc plays it fine without crashing, like it did with the original .ts file. |
