I have a MPEG-1 file that plays beautifully with WMP11 when Dscaler 5.0.0.8 is NOT installed. As soon as I install it however the same file does not render properly. I only need Dscaler for MPEG-2 (DVD) playback. Is there a way to make the default WMP11 codec take control of MPEG-1?

Could you post a link to the file or short segment of it? It certainly should work. Otherwise probably the best way of getting it working is to up the merit on the MS MPEG 1 decoder to higher than the DScaler 5 codec, should them behave sensibly.
